The Herley Explorer 11 is a luxury aluminium powerboat and the largest single hull vessel in the Herley fleet. The Explorer 11 is designed to provide the ultimate combination of comfort, style and performance. It has ample storage, a fully equipped galley, shower and head, and a spacious cockpit that offers the perfect blend of form and function. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to create a functional and beautiful powerboat that is the perfect vessel for all your on-water adventures and is the ultimate choice for anyone who demands the very best.
Herley Boats provides the ultimate ride and stability for premium powerboats and the Explorer 11 is no exception, from the initial design phase, engineering and craftsmanship created a boat that not only looks great but performs exceptionally well on the water. Every detail of the hull ensures it is optimized for a smooth and comfortable ride, even in choppy waters. Other important factors that contribute to the overall stability of the vessel were also considered such as the weight distribution, centre of gravity, and the balance of the boat which all work together to provide a stable and secure platform. Herley Boats are committed to provide the best ride and steadiness for all vessels and the Explorer 11 is no exception. The plumb bow design is a key feature that provides both comfort and constancy as it is a vertical stem at the very front of the boat to create a sharper entry point into the water and allow the boat to slice through waves more easily and smoothly resulting to a smoother, more comfortable ride even in choppy waters. The design also enhances stability when the boat is at rest as the sharper angle of the bow creates a larger surface area at the front of the boat, creating more buoyancy and a reduced tendency to pitch and roll which is for a more stable and secure platform when fishing or at anchor.
COCKPIT:
The Explorer 11 has a large cockpit that provides ample room for fishing gear and a comfortable area to relax and unwind. The fixed double seat and two flip-out seats can accommodate all passengers while a transom door allows the option of a swim or dive door on the starboard side to make getting on and off the dock an ease. The aft helm is another great feature that is useful when parking or deep-sea hunting complemented by a spacious locker in the cockpit floor for storage. Additional highlights include padded gunnels, state-of-the-art rod holders, raw and fresh water washdowns, knee-activated wash stations, a forward kill tank with macerator pump-out and a dedicated compressor storage locker for diving gear.
INTERIOR:
Herley Boats not only delivers high performance but are also exquisitely finished. The Explorer 11 is designed for longer trips that features two full cabins with queen beds with each having storage options and a master cabin that boasts a wardrobe. The separate head and shower provide more space for washing and privacy while the galleys which are renowned for their attention to detail and premium finishes, come with stone bench tops, a double sink, fridge, microwave, and cooker, as well as ample storage space. The dining area features a wrap-around seating area, with a table that can comfortably seat everyone onboard and the helm seat and twin queen seats on the port side provide additional seating options including a flip-out monitor that allows you to keep an eye on the instruments while out on the cockpit. The spacious saloon is designed to maximize your comfort and enjoyment with a dinette table that can be lowered to form a third bed and bifold doors and windows that open to the cockpit, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. The forward-opening windshield allows for fresh air to flow through the space, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Storage space is not a problem as there are overhead lockers in the forward staterooms, a dedicated tackle locker in the transom, and two large draining lockers for tuna bags or extra ropes and more in the transom.
